Synopsis

When a suspected assassin turns up dead alongside a couple of ex-bodyguards of her intended government-minister target, the agents of Section 9 set out to unravel the mystery only to find themselves tied up in a Gordian knot of intrigues and subterfuges. When the minister goes missing, reports surface of an ace-sniper out to punch the big shot's ticket, and the Section 9 agents race against the clock to get to the minister before the assassin's bullet does! Ghost in the Shell 1.5: Human-Error Processor presents for the first time in America the "lost" Ghost in the Shell stories, created by Shirow Masamune after completing work on the original Ghost in the Shell manga and prior to his tour-de-force, Ghost in the Shell 2: Man-Machine Interface. This deluxe-format issue begins "Lost Past," the final of four Ghost in the Shell tales, presented in the original right-to-left reading format, as originally published in Japan.
